- I have always loved stories and the process of creating them. Art is the visual medium of stories and worlds imagined, and this is the path I decided to pursue. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Visual Development from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I loved my time in the City, which is a rich and inspiring place to live. San Francisco became the setting for my long-term project, “The Popes,” which is featured in this portfolio. I love all aspects of design, and while my work generally has a sensual, natural and sometimes eerie esthetic, I am inspired by many different styles and expressions of art. As well as drawing characters and creatures, I love to add depth to stories though the design of props and costumes.
